About the Migration Urban Hub
Cities are the places where people come together to work, find opportunities and eventually build their lives. It is also the place where many existences, cultures and realities unfold, and where migrants and host communities socialise and mingle.
The iMap Urban Hub offers a platform to collect, connect and capitalise on cities practical knowledge and solution to mitigate migration challenges, and to provide access to services and opportunities to all - including migrants and refugees.
The Urban hub also aims at raising awareness on the pivotal role local governments’ play in migration governance to ensure a shift towards a right-based approach to migration in line with Global Agendas such as: the Global Compact for Migration, the Global Compact for Refugees, the New Urban Agenda and the 2030 Agenda.
#ItTakesACommunity to leave no one behind, thus, #Listen2Cities!
